Kid Rock Confirms He Is Not Running For Senate


As expected, Kid Rock will in fact not be running for a senate seat in Michigan. Rock confirmed the news during a recent appearance on ‘The Howard Stern Show‘. When asked if he was pursuing the position, stated:

“Fuck no, I’m not running for Senate. Are you kidding me? Who couldn’t figure that out? I’m releasing a new album. I’m going on tour too.” Yes, who couldn’t have figured that out?”

Instead, Rock‘s ‘campaign’, which included merch, stump speeches and more, was merely a publicity stunt for his new album, “Sweet Southern Sugar“, which will be released on November 03rd. He’ll also be touring in support of that effort:
