Kid Rock seems to be teasing that he will be making a run for a seat on the U.S. senate in his native Michigan, having launched kidrockforsenate.com, complete with related merch. Speaking via Twitter earlier today he offered:

As many have pointed out, the merchandise links to a Warner Bros. Records hosted shop, while no official paperwork regarding his apparent bid has been filed as of yet. Thus the general consensus thus far seems to be it’s a marketing ploy for new music or a project he has in the works.
That said, Rock has been vocal about his politics and his pro-Trump stance in the past, with rumors of his apparent bid for senate having circulated for a number of months now.
