Amon Amarth‘s original viking longship from their live shows has been retired (at least temporarily) in a fitting fashion: alongside wooden viking statues of the band themselves carved by the boats creator, Daniel Alt. The longship stage production idea has of course since grown in size and scope for the band in recent years with their current rig being a far more impressive beast. Frontman Johan Hegg shared the following image of the boat and the statues:
