Megadeth's Dave Mustaine Briefly Channeled Lemmy & '92 Het With His Facial Hair

Though it would likely pain him to admit it, Megadeth frontman/guitarist Dave Mustaine could pull off a fairly convincing ’92 James Hetfield if he ever wanted to. He was recently seen sporting the ol’ muttonchop look made famous in metal and rock by the late Motörhead vocalist/bassist Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister and of course Hetfield. Amaranthe‘s Elize Ryd immortalized the look during its brief existence below:

Sadly it was not meant to be however, as Mustaine has confirmed the chops are now gone:
