Though he’s reinvented himself as a country artist in recent years, ex-Morbid Angel vocalist/bassist David Vincent will be going back to the material of Morbid Angel in a new project dubbed, I Am Morbid. Former Morbid Angel drummer Tim Yeung will join him in that outfit, along with guitarists Bill Hudson (Circle II Circle, etc.) and Ira Black (Metal Church, Lizzy Borden). Together they will be performing material from Morbid Angel‘s early albums (“Altars Of Madness“, “Blessed Are The Sick“, “Covenant” & “Domination“.) Despite mining the band’s past, they somewhat ironically take their namesake from a song featured on the band’s divisive 2011 release, “Illud Divinum Insanus“. They will be performing at the following shows thus far:
