HELLYEAH guitarist Tom Maxwell appears on the below abbreviated episode of Talk Toomey. During the course of the chat he discussed the possibility of his previous band Nothingface ever getting back together again:
“It was a good time but you know people change and people are different—they’re not the same people. Matt Holt you know is doing his thing and we don’t get along, we don’t talk, I don’t want nothing to do with him or his life, it’s not gonna happen man. I have dignity.”

He continued:
“Ain’t gonna happen man. I would rather people that saw the band in its heyday when it was great remember that than go out there with some hack version of a singer that can’t fucking do it, that’s bottom line.”
“It’s like this, man and fucking Vinnie [Paul] put it this way to me too. You get a bad divorce from your first wife, you ever think about going back to her after you remarried and you’re happy? Same shit. I mean who’s going to be happy about it? The fans? The fans are going to be disappointed when they see something that’s not… You know.”
He later added:
“There’s just nothing anymore. There’s no communication, there’s no desire. I don’t need to do it, I don’t have to do it. I’m happy where I’m at and I’m going to leave it right where it is. It’s dead.”
Nothingface previously reunited back around 2005 and lasted till 2009, with members of the band pointing the finger at singer Matt Holt being the reason for the second split.
