Though there doesn’t appear to have been an official statement issued on the matter, Davey Suicide have confirmed that their case against Standby Records and label owner Neil Sheehan has been settled. Suicide had outlined a laundry list of claims against Sheehan and Standby in a tell-all video with the case originally set to go before trial by jury in February of next year.
Suicide has since confirmed to Altpress.com that a settlement has been reached and in celebration released the below music video for “Rise Above“. Notably the video lists ‘AntiSystem Records‘ as their label home. On a side note, since running the first story linked above, Standby Records also made good on an unpaid advertising debt from 2012 with Theprp.com.
