Having put years of legalities that prevented Attila frontman Chris Fronzak from entering Canada behind them, the band recently kicked off a Canadian tour. However, rather than Fronzak being denied entry this time out, it was bassist/vocalist Kalan Blehm who wasn’t able to cross the border. Myka Relocate guitarist Josh Peltier has been touring in his place. Blehm said of that via Instagram:
“Due to some legal complications I was not able to get into Canada with the rest of @attila_ga so I cloned myself and sent what we call Canada Kalan aka @joshuapeltier across the border to take over bass duties.
He’s capable of everything I do except he’s a little less handsome, parties way too hard and has a funny accent. This is the first tour I’ve ever had to miss and hopefully the last. In the meantime don’t forget to grab your tickets for the remainder of the Canadian shows and I’ll see you guys @dirtfest”
Remaining dates for Attila‘s current tour include:
08/08 Hamilton, ON – Absinthe
08/09 Toronto, ON – Hard Luck
08/10 Toronto, ON – Hard Luck
08/11 Toronto, ON – Hard Luck
08/12 London, ON – Rum Runners
08/13 Pontiac, MI – Dirt Fest
Attila will return with a new album later this year titled “Chaos“.
