Drowning Pool frontman CJ Pierce spoke to Artisan News Service about the cover of their song “Bodies” that was performed by 82-year-old John Hetlinger on a recent episode of ‘America’s Got Talent‘. In the chat, which you can find below, Pierce revealed that wheels are already in motion to have him join them onstage for the track:
“We’re going to get in touch with John, we’re going to have him up onstage with us at some point before the end of this year. I know it’s going to be happen, we gotta have him out there doing it live with us, that’ll be awesome.”
“We gotta get him on like a big festival in front of a lot of people. We definitely need to find, pick the right place and time for it. I’m looking forward to meet him and again we do appreciate, we’re flattered that he sang the song, I think he did a killer job. I was entertained, I’m still cracking up over it.”
