Asking Alexandria’s Ben Bruce On Danny Worsnop: “He’s An Englishman Singing Country Music With An American Accent”

Earlier this month former Asking Alexandria frontman Danny Worsnop made some pointed comments of his former outfit, including:

“I ended up leaving [Asking Alexandria] because it lost the art to me. It lost its artistic integrity in my eyes. It was just selling out and that’s not what I do.”

Band guitarist Ben Bruce has now offered his thoughts on Worsnop‘s comments, calling into question Worsnop‘s own integrity—in particular his fledgling country career. Speaking with Loudwire, Bruce offered:

“What’s really annoying about that is, one, we just spoke a few days prior, on good terms. What’s really annoying about it is, artistic integrity? He’s an Englishman—from England obviously, Hull, England—singing country music with an American accent. Where’s your integrity? What are you talking about? We’ve done what we’ve always loved to do since day one. We didn’t change. He did. For the fact that he can sit there and say that, I think it’s bullshit. It’s not true.”
