Fear Factory May Open Max & Iggor Cavalera’s 20th Anniversary Tour For Sepultura’s “Roots”

Soulfly, etc. frontman Max Cavalera spoke with Metal Wani of the various projects he has going. While currently out on the road with Soulfly, he plans to meet up with The Dillinger Escape Plan, etc. frontman Greg Puciato sometime in June to continue hashing out new material for their Killer Be Killed side project with an album to arrive next year. As for his plans to mark the 20th anniversary of Sepultura‘s “Roots” with full-album performances later this year alongside his brother (and former Sepultura drummer) Iggor Cavalera, he had to the following to say:

“A U.S. tour, a European tour, maybe South America at the end of the year. Yeah it looks like a U.S. tour and we got the original backdrop, which is cool, from the original tour. I’m looking forward… You know me and Igor are very excited for that. It looks like Fear Factory might be the opening band for that tour, maybe with another band I hope. Yeah, I’m excited, things are going to be great. I’m looking forward to jamming with Igor again. I haven’t played with him in awhile, you know it’s been quite awhile since we did the “Pandemonium” tour, so it’s gonna be fun to get back on the road with him.”
