Deftones‘ new album “Gore” landed at no. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart with 71,000 units (69,000 of which were pure album sales.) The impressive sales debut gave the band their best first week sales since 2006’s “Saturday Night Wrist“, which sold 76,000 first week. It’s also their highest charting album debut since the release of their self-titled album back in 2003. As for what topped them on the charts, The Lumineers‘ “Cleopatra” took home the top spot with 125,000 equivalent album units.
