Halestorm paid tribute to late Stone Temple Pilots/Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland during their set at The Powerstation in Auckland, NZ this past Saturday, December 05th. The group delivered a partial cover of Stone Temple Pilots‘ “Interstate Love Song“, which you can see below. Weiland passed away on December 03rd as the result of cardiac arrest. A letter recently penned by his wife and children painted a troubling picture of Weiland‘s struggles with addiction, mental illness and fatherhood.
