Yesterday (November 20th) The Ghost Inside were involved in a horrible bus accident that left three members of the band critically wounded and claimed the life of their bus driver and the driver of the other vehicle. Other members of the band and their crew also suffered serious/critical injuries. In light of that, this Gofundme page was launched to help out with the band’s medical bills, equipment loss and the funeral costs for their bus driver.

Among those to donate are Bring Me The Horizon, who chipped in an impressive $10,000 USD to the band. Rather than play up their sizable contribution, the band merely commented of the situation with the following:

“Yesterday as we came offstage we heard that our good friends in The Ghost Inside were involved in a terrible collision whilst on their tour bus in America. Unfortunately the drivers in both vehicles sadly passed away, and a large number of the band and crew have sustained serious injuries and are currently in care.

Our thoughts are currently with the band, crew and families of all involved in this horrible accident.
We first toured with The Ghost Inside in 2008 and have remained good friends with them since. Proceeds from our merchandise on this tour have been donated to a gofundme account set up to help with medical bills.

We urge our fans to get involved and help with whatever you can donate too, please use the following link – https://www.gofundme.com/aqb5umd8

BMTH”

Not to be overshadowed either was Architects $1000 donation to the band, they said of the accident:

“Our friends in The Ghost Inside were involved in a terrible collision whilst on their US tour. The drivers in both vehicles involved sadly passed away and our thoughts are with their families.

Band and crew are alive but have sustained bad injuries and are currently in care. Health care is expensive in the US and one can only assume that their equipment has been destroyed in the crash as well, so if you have a little bit of spare money then please help support the band to get back on their feet here –

Much love,

Rather than draw attention their generous contributions both bands kept their donations on the down low, but they both deserve recognition for helping out their friends in need. As you can see below, the band This Wild Life and Festival/merch company Impericon also made sizeable donations to the band. All That Remains bassist Aaron “Bubble” Patrick and more also contributed as well.
