Soulfly Recruit Ministry & King Parrot Frontmen For Cameos On Their New Album “Archangel”

Soulfly have some special guests lined up for their forthcoming tenth album “Archangel“, which Nuclear Blast Entertainment will release on August 14th. Frontman/guitarist Max Cavalera told Revolver that the title track will likely serve as the first single from the release. He also revealed that those gracing the album are Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen, appearing on “Sodomite“. King Parrot vocalist Matt Young guests on “Live Life Hard“, while “Mother Of Dragon” also features a number of Cavalera‘s offspring.

The groups forthcoming tour with Soilwork, Decapitated, etc. took its name from another of the album’s new songs. Cavalera said of that cut, known as “We Sold Our Souls To Metal“:

“It’s a killer track. It’s really fast, and only about two minutes long. It has a really cool, catchy chorus, but then the rest of the song almost reminds me of older Cannibal Corpse. And at the end it goes into this metal-meets-Pink-Floyd kind of thing. It’s really wild and weird.”
