Of all the music included in the ‘Grand Theft Auto V‘ video game, metal was largely absent. With the PC version of the game now available, people have been poring over the code to find hidden secrets. As it turns out, there was a metal friendly station titled P.M.R. set for inclusion in the game that was allegedly scrapped late in development.
Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor himself was apparently set to host the station, with its own logo resembling the classic NIN logo. Though not metal exclusive—brit pop, indie rock and more were also set for inclusion—Faith No More‘s “The Real Thing” and Staind‘s “It’s Been Awhile” were among the tracks allegedly lined up for the station.
