Old Wounds have finished recording their new album “The Suffering Spirit” with producer Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, Born Of Osiris). Drummer Brandon Gallagher said of the upcoming release, which will arrive this summer on Good Fight Music:
“We just completed the recording of The Suffering Spirit, our second LP. I think this release accurately expresses our growth as a band both musically and emotionally. We’ve been on the road almost nonstop since the release of our first LP, From Where We Came Is Where We’ll Rest, and in between tours we worked on writing better songs that were released on the Trenchfoot split and the Death Projection EP. Once it was time to sit down and really start focusing on this new album we knew exactly what we wanted and we went for it. Going into the studio with Andreas was a big help too. He knows his craft extremely well and I think he brought out the best in us.”
