The lawsuit filed against Daniel Baldi by Brenna Gray, widow of late Slipknot bassist Paul Gray, has been dismissed. The Des Moines Register report that Judge Dennis Stovall ruled that the statute of limitations had passed on her chance to file suit. Paul passed away from a drug overdose on July 22nd, 2010. Brenna‘s lawsuit was filed on February 14th, 2014.
While still facing a number of other suits from alleged victims, Baldi was previously acquitted of involuntary manslaughter charges in relation to Paul‘s death. Baldi‘s legal team had successfully argued that at the time of Paul‘s death no drugs which he had prescribed were found in his system.
