Alternative Press magazine will be hosting their first-ever ‘Alternative Press Music Awards‘ this year. The ceremony will take place at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame And Museum in Cleveland, OH on July 21st. Blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus will serve as host with the awards show to be live broadcast on AXS TV.

Further performances are expected to be announced along with surprise guests planned. Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins, Emmure frontman Frankie Palmeri, Black Veil Brides singer Andy Biersack and Machine Gun Kelly and Korn have all signed on to appear thus far as well.
During the ceremony Billy Corgan will be presented with the ‘Alternative Press Vanguard Award“. Joan Jett meanwhile will be honored with the ‘AP Icon Award‘.
