As I Lay Dying‘s Tim Lambesis‘s October 22nd, 2013 arraignment was met with a delay and will now take place this coming Wednesday, November 13th (thanks Lambgoat.) The previous date was missed as a result of a scheduling conflict with Lambesis‘ attorney. There’s a slight chance the case could reach a resolution prior to a pending trial as a result of the proceedings if a plea bargain has been reached.
Lambesis faces a charge of solicitation of another to commit murder. The intended victim in this case is his estranged wife Meggan Lambesis, whom he is alleged to have attempted to hire an undercover detective posing as a hitman to murder this past Spring.
Lambesis has previously pled not guilty to the charges and is currently out on bail. A previous defense presented by his attorney had word that Lambesis‘s “thought processes were devastatingly affected by his steroid use.” Lambesis was found to be in possession of various muscle enhancement drugs/steroids at his Carlsbad, CA residence at the time of his May 07th, 2013 arrest.
