Ministry Likely To Play Shows In Support Of New Album, ‘Dubistry’ Project Being Eyed

Ministry nucleus Al Jourgensen had a revealing interview with Texasmonthly.com in which he discussed his new biography, facial tattoos, the passing of guitarist Mike Scaccia, the bands new album and more. In regards to any future Ministry albums outside of the groups forthcoming “From Beer To Eternity“, Jourgensen stated: “I know I’m not doing another Ministry album without him [Mike Scaccia]. Period.”

He did mention that he will likely play shows in support of the coming album however as a result of needing money and that a tentative new project called Dubistry is in the works. If that undertaking comes to fruitition it would find Ministry‘s music melded with dub in the vein of Lee Scratch Perry and King Tubby.

From Beer To Eternity” will receive a September 06th release date. Also coming from the band are Jourgen‘s authorized biography “Ministry: The Lost Gospels According to Al Jourgensen“, which was penned by Jourgensen and Jon Wiederhorn on July 09th. A two-disc live album titled “Ministry: Enjoy The Quiet – Live at Wacken 2012” from the bands 2012 “Wacken Open Air” performance will hit stores on August 02nd.
