Those bummed out by The Famine‘s forthcoming farewell show (Tomcats West in Fort Worth, Texas this Friday, August 12th) take heart, for the band isn’t expressly done just yet. According to some tweets made by the group yesterday (August 08th) there is a cover song in the works. Initially the group tweeted the following:
“Last Famine practice ever. So far we’ve played 4 Pantera songs, 2 Metallica songs, and a Sepultura tune.”

A fan, who among asking the group about their breakup, also asked if they recorded any of the covers got the following reply:
“yep, last show is this Friday. We recorded one of them, we’ll post it as soon as vocals are done.”
