Korn bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu recently told “Revolver Magazine” (#96, May/June 2011 issue) that he regrets his 2002 side project, Fieldy’s Dreams. When asked about the status of the project, he replied:
“You know, I was real young when I did that. Today I don’t think I need to be on a mic. I don’t think I have a voice. That’s a gift that some people have. Back then, Korn was on top and we could do anything we wanted. But I look back on it now and I’m embarrassed [laughs]. At least I can say that. I wish I never did it, but obviously it’s out and there’s nothing I can do about it.”
Arvizu also seemed a bit puzzled by the then reaction of his Korn bandmates to his latest project, Stillwell. When asked what the group thought of Stillwell‘s live shows (the interview was conducted when Stillwell opened for Disturbed, Korn etc. earlier this year), Arvizu offered:
“They actually watch us almost every night, but they don’t seem very animated about things for some reason. They’re not coming up to me, like, “Dude, that is sooo dope!” But I’ll see Jonathan watching us from the side of the stage from time to time. I saw Munky watching us from the soundboard the other night.”
