Metalinsider.net have word that Clutch will enter the studio on July 04th to begin recording a handful of acoustic renditions of their material for a future EP release. The sessions will be helmed by producer J. Robbins (Coliseum, Paint It Black). Songs expected to undergo the treatment include “Abraham Lincoln“, “Electric Worry“, “Regulator“, “Tight Like That” and a cover of Bukka White‘s “Fixin’ To Die Blues“.
In the meantime, the group have been performing the acoustic renditions of the aforementioned tracks live lately, some footage of that can be found below:

As previously reported, Clutch will be reissuing a deluxe edition of their album “From Beale Street To Oblivion” through their own Weathermaker Music label on July 20th.
