Carnifex‘s track “Answers In Mourning” appears in a new Virgin Trains ad (see below) and the band aren’t so happy with the arrangement. Their track is mistakenly referred to as ‘thrash metal’ in the clip and is certainly presented as the lesser of the two options provided in the advertisement.

Speaking via Twitter, Carnifex commented:
“Love it when everyone makes money on our music except the people who wrote, recorded and performed it. Anyone else see this ad?”
“This is the most ‘mainstream’ we’ll ever get and Virgin Trains has compared us to traffic, a flat tire and being arrested.”

This is the most "mainstream" we'll ever get and @VirginTrains has compared us to; traffic, a flat tire and being arrested. https://t.co/SB2so9bpLc
