Otep have signed a new management deal with Mach 2.8 Entertainment Group—a company founded by Slipknot‘s acrobatic DJ Sid Wilson and his business partner Symon Mead. Otep frontwoman Otep Shamaya said of the new partnership:
“I’ve been a friend and fan of Sid for years and it’s a true honor to be managed by such a talented and triumphant artist.”
Along with the new management deal comes word of a seventh studio album from the un-retired outfit. The group plan to release it digitally through Sono Recording Group and Spotify. Otep will also be a part of next month’s ‘The Civil Unrest Tour‘, which features Wayne Static, Dope, Smile Empty Soul and more.
