Deftones frontman Chino Moreno has posted a previously unreleased Deftones song thought to be from the bands shelved album, “Eros“. That effort was originally put aside following the tragic car accident which left their late bassist/vocalist Chi Cheng comatose.
The song posted today, April 13th, marks the one year anniversary of Cheng‘s passing as a result of the complications from said car accident. With the song—apparently titled “Smile“—Moreno offered:
“Chi, We miss you today and everyday. –deftones.”

Despite being posted by Moreno himself the original upload has been taken down by the bands label, Warner Bros. Records. An alternate video can be found below:
