DevilDriver/Coal Chamber, etc. frontman Dez Fafara has released his new benefit single “Dark Meadowlark” online. The song was recorded to help with the medical costs associated with his sister Kerri‘s ongoing struggle with cancer. You can snag the track now over at Dezfafara.com.
It finds Fafara backed by Greg Weiss (ex-Speak No Evil) alongside Dan Yob and Zac Morris of Last Great Nation.

Pretty cool track. Has that Dark Days-era eerie Coal Chamber vibe with Dez’s more modern vocals. Not a sledgehammer of a song but doesn’t need to be considering it’s content.
