More bad news for the “Shockwave Festival” has come to light. Misery Index have announced their exit from trek with the following statement:

“Due to a series of unfortunate events, we’re not doing any shows on any shockwave/Fear Factory/Voivod etc. tour. It’s cancelled. Sorry for the confusion, we are extremely upset about this and sorry to any fans who bought tix.”

Meanwhile,  Metal Sucks are reporting that Havok have now also dropped off the bill. Their departures follow the recent mass exodus of bands from the festival, including Voivod, Dirge Within, Revocation, Vildhjarta and Forged In Flame. The remaining bands to have not pulled out of the tour yet include:

Fear Factory
Cattle Decapitation
Last Chance To Reason
The Browning

Furthermore, a number of stops of the tour have since been cancelled. Initial dates to get the axe include the August 03rd Tempe, AZ show and the July 07th Vancouver, BC stop.
