I hope the do a US tour. I would love to see them again

    • MARIACHI EL willX

agreed! I would have love to have seen this live also.

I have and always will love soad, but I’m iffy on their live shows. I’ve seen the with the mars volta and they were fucking amazing. I also saw them with fear factory and was more entertained by the 40 year drunk guys trying to pick up high school girls.

I saw Serj’s solo project and it was easily one of the worst concert experiences I’ve ever witnessed. Absolutely horrible.

Wow, you must have caught them on a really bad night. I’ve seen them a handful of times and the tour with TMV was the worst. It was still a good show, just no where near as entertaining as seeing them on Pledge of Allegiance or any other time during the S/T or Toxicity era. I would still grab a ticket if they did a full US tour though.

As far as Serj’s solo shows, the videos I’ve seen were boring for sure. I would guess that watching Serj’s solo project live is probably similar to the time I saw Death Cab for Cutie. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

U know you’re in good hands with Joey behind the kit. Now if only we could get Serj to start blowin lines again maybe we could get a full blown(no pun intended) SOAD U.S. tour.

  • southpawchew

i think the guitarist doing so many vocals on the last cds is really what hurt this band just write heavy shit let serj sing and that dude do back ups

A DEP, Slipknot, SOAD tour in 2012 would be huge. Although, I saw DEP open for SOAD in the height of SOAD’s popularity like 7 or 8 years ago and the crowd just chanted “SYSTEM. SYSTEM. SYSTEM.” for the entire 30 minutes DEP was playing.

I saw that tour too, in Portugal, and you know what, at that time, i didn’t like DEP. I was like, “what the hell is this?”
now they are my favourite band.
about SOAD, i never listen to them since a lot of years.

Whoa. Adds for the new GRIMES record on The PRP, Wook? —–>

I love GRIMES. Just saw her live last week. Shhhh. Don’t tell anyone on here tho.

    Opps. Ha ha

  • whatisyourforte

i’m pretty sure that was Vern Troy on the drums, not Joey Jordison.
