According to legal documents obtained by Courthousenews.com, A Day To Remember filed a lawsuit against their label Victory Records on May 31st, 2011. perhaps the real pirates are the labels, trying to rip off both ends – the bands and the fans?
I guess the thing is that nowadays, most labels don’t do much but pay for the studio costs, print a record and take care of promotion and that’s about it.
A Day to Remember need to leave this label, their the only ok band I can think of on it.

I wonder if Victory started signing all of these bullshit, teen Punk/Metal bands, because they knew they could exploit them and not pay them? You know damn well they would have never not paid Strife. Strife would have fucked them up!
The difference in quality between Victory’s currently signed bands and previously signed bands is night and day. I’d say the best band on the label now is The Sleeping.
