Design The Skyline have inked a deal with Victory. An introduction video to the band, who plan to release new music through the label later this year, can be found below:

      Do you think the dudes at Victory feel any remorse for ruining a perfectly good label by way of pandering to a fleeting scene movement? I’m sure they’re laughing all the way to the bank, but even they probably don’t think this ‘music’ is good, just profitable.

      @AMeN & Waldorf – I’d like to pursue this. What would music be like if the Germans had won? I’m leaning towards even-worse-than-this cookie-cutter-bullshit that reinforces the political agenda – i.e. not very good. It might SOUND rebellious… but it would all be nationalistic horseshit coated in “whatever the kids like right now”… right?
      I think there’d be more bullshit than there is now, and less good stuff – because they’d be persecuted and quashed. So we’d be worse off. I think… heh.

      theres an easy way to solve this. find out when their next show is. while their playing, someone take a lighter and strike that thing. And they’ll be engulfed in the flames of all the hair product they applied.

      I remember when bands like Snapcase and Earth Crisis were the face of Victory, I mean seriously this label has turned into something far worse than anything Trustkill could have (or did).

      i think the worst part about this is that this kind of stuff sells better than a lot of the good music. im pretty sure Victory is laughing their asses on how bad they suck… but they know this will sell which is why they signed them. those scene girls are the greatest fans.

      you’re all acting like 90% of new metal isn’t like this? It’s all the same gunk. Singy screamy singy screamy. it’s all the same bullshit. Out of half the bands touring, I could only find a few really ballsy bands out there. Most just want to appeal to the Hot Topic crowd of emo’s and what I call “neo-queers”

      oh and to add to that…the worst part is, even older bands that used to be ballsy have been de-balled worse than my dog the day we had him fixed. I’ve never been more ashamed of heavy metal music than now.

      @Mad_Hiddy, I believe you said it best and i totally agree. @Everyone else, We all have a right to our own opinions but… we aren’t the ones getting record deals either lol Victory Records used to be awesome, especially when “THUMB” was still around, and Snapcase, now it’s all gimmick’s.

      I don’t know what bands all you people complaining about metal all sounded like this are listening to, but it’s not metal. Krallice is metal. Gates Of Slumber is metal. Heaven Shall Burn is metal. This shit and pretty much everything else signed to Victory except Jungle Rot is bullshit.

      everyone go and like the facebook pages making fun of this band.. its fucking HILARIOUS… i seriously cried laughing for about 5 mins looking at the pics and reading the posts lol. the best one is called “design the skyline is so bad i want to die”

      I don’t go to shows with “these kinds” of bands, not because the music is so terrible, but because I fear if I get drunk enough, I might mistake any one of them for a girl and hit on them. And I’m sure half of them would reciprocate.

      @Nate. I agree for the most part, but they do still have some sick bands on that label. Comeback Kid, Arise and Ruin (Metal as fuck), Darkest Hour and a few others that are on hiatus, but still legit. It’s just that these shit bands get more advertising then the good bands do.

      @Nate. I wish a lot of bands had never been on that label. Strife, Premonitions of war, Blood for blood, INTEGRITY. Its kinda like Trustkill now a days. So embarrassing.

      I think a reason this band is getting a bad wrap is because they all look like emo dong smokers, yes i said “dong” smokers. The music is no different than bands like Suicide Silence, Whitechapel, yet people love those bands, could just be deathcore in general, maybe it’s just the genre and the complete absence of originality. OR… maybe it’s just me =P

      If I would’ve known that I could literally JUST pick up an instrument, as in lift it off of the ground, and straighten my hair to get signed, I would’ve never wasted my time actually learning how to play my fucking bass. You guys make we want to quit my band, bathe in gasoline and light myself on fire. I would rather get shit on, stabbed and raped then listen to you faggots. I can’t believe you guys got signed. I wanna stop listening to music now. I hope you all die. Right now.       This band is f-ing horrible on all fronts. How can they watch this video of themselves and not think about what douches they are? Also, who listens to this shit? I keep on seeing Abandon All Ships videos and I thought they were crap, but this band takes the cake of shity, pink shirt wearin’, keyboard playin’, swoopy hair douche metal. Maybe they are doing the Spinal Tap thing , but I doubt it.

      It sounds like they just mashed a whole bunch of shit together, Lmfao, like if they had some rhythm, then it would sound so good. I think each instrument by theirselves sound pretty good.
