Chimaira Reveal Trailer And Details For “Coming Alive” Live Release
Chimaira have made a trailer for their new live 2 DVD/1 CD release “Coming Alive” available online below. The set will feature a three hour documentary of the bands recent world touring filmed in HD, the 2009 annual “Chimaira Christmas” show captured by 13 cameras in HD, live audio from the aforementioned show and hours of bonus footage spanning the bands career.
The outing is currently slated for a July 20th North American release date through Ferret Music, while a variety of special preorders can now be found online over at Chimaira.com.

Pre-ordered without blinking. It’s awesome they include Dead Inside and Painting The White To Grey in their setlist. Love all their albums but their self-titled is so good it hurts.

dicksnbabies nailed it. The Impossibility of Reason was very good, Chimaira was decent…after that, they’ve coasted in the writing department. Very boring at this point. Rob Arnold says he wants this to be the new Live Shit…that alone tells you where he thinks his band is.
I’ll admit the Infection is at the bottom of the list of their albums, but Chimaira is still an amazing live band and even the self titled and Resurrection albums fucking slay. Just some awesome straight up metal. Looking forward to this DVD and more so their next release.
