Inclement weather conditions on the East Coast of the US have forced a delay of the mail order-only Blu-ray edition of Suicide Silence‘s “Ending Is The Beginning: The Mitch Lucker Memorial Show“.
The CD/DVD edition is still on schedule for a February 18th release however. That set captures Suicide Silence‘s December 2012 live show which they played in tribute to their late frontman Mitch Lucker. During that show they were joined onstage by musicians from the likes of Lamb Of God, Machine Head, Soulfly.
All royalties from the effort will go towards the education fund for Lucker‘s daughter, Kenadee. An update from the bands camp on the status of the Blu-ray version can be found below:
“Due to bad weather on the east coast, there has been a delay with the manufacturing plant that will cause ALL CD/BLURAY orders to be delayed for about a week. Their facility has been closed & there’s nothing we can do. No one anywhere will receive the Blu-Ray until the week of the 24th, so don’t get upset with our webstore or wherever you ordered from as they simply don’t have the product yet to send you.
The CD/DVDs, however, should still arrive to you around Feb 18th or a few short days after. This is a CD/BLURAY specific delay. Please be patient.”
Just yesterday footage taken from the set of Of Mice & Men‘s Austin Carlile performing “OCD” with the band was released here.
