As I Lay Dying‘s Tim Lambesis was in a Vista, CA court today (November 11th) for his arraignment in his ongoing murder-for-hire case. He once again pled not guilty to the charge of solicitation of another to commit murder. The victim of that attempted solicitation was his estranged wife Meggan Lambesis,—who filed for divorce from him months prior to his arrest this past May.
Citing an unnamed source in attendance at the hearing, Lambgoat have word that a January 15th date has been set for a readiness conference in the ongoing case. If the case is not resolved by a potential plea deal/agreement then a potential March 11th trial date is being eyed.
Tim is alleged to have attempted to hire an undercover detective posing as a hitman to murder Meggan this past Spring. Tim is currently out on bail with a previous defense that his “thought processes were devastatingly affected by his steroid use” having been presented.
As was previously reported, Lambesis was found to be in possession of a number of performance enhancement drugs/steroids at his Carlsbad, CA residence during the time of his May 2013 arrest.
