Chimaira have been performing overseas without guitarist Matt DeVries as a result of a passport mix up. DeVries will rejoin the band on March 10th in Newcastle, England and issued the following statement on the matter.
“What’s up everyone? Well, as some of you might have noticed at the first show of our current tour in Cardiff, I’m currently not in the UK. I’m actually still in the States waiting to fly over to the UK. Let’s just say my passport made it over there, but I did not. To make a very long story, very short…..shit does happen. The good news is I will be rejoining the tour on Wednesday in Newcastle. Can’t fucking wait! Obviously Chimaira will not be canceling any shows. The show must go on! Thanks to all of our fans for understanding and see you soon!”
