Intronaut‘s ongoing recording sessions for their new album have now been detailed. The band have lined up John Haddad (Exhumed, Phobia) to produce the drums, while Derek Donley (Berfet) will oversee the recording duties for the remaining instruments. Andrew Schneider (Unsane, Cave In) will helm the mixing process.
According to vocalist/guitarist Sacha Dunable:
“After a year of intense, full-time writing mode, we are elated to begin recording our fourth full length this week. It’s a little early to have perspective on how it compares to our past records, but it should be a banger. Expect a wildly technical, emotionally charged, organic sounding record.”
A spring 2013 release date is expected for the effort on Century Media. In case you missed it, the band recently posted this footage of themselves jamming a new song from the album.
