@vod_band Vision of Disorder revealed to “Terrorizer” (issue #223) that their new album will be titled “The Cursed Remain Cursed“. According to frontman Tim Williams:
“This record is vintage VOD, but we’ve all grown as musicians and individuals since the last stuff we released. It’s pretty diverse. You’ve got songs like “Blood Red Sun” that are among the most forward-thinking, progressive things we’ve ever done, while still being real vicious—but there are some straight up numbers too, like “Hard Times” and “Loveless“.
Lyrically it’s coming from a pretty dark place, falling into the pits of one’s own personal hell, and having to crawl out or die down there, plus there’s some more political stuff too. This has been a long time in the making and we just went with what felt right.”
As previously reported, the band recently filmed a video for the albums first single “Set To Fail“. The group recorded “The Cursed Remain Cursed” with producer Will Putney (Shadows Fall, Suicide Silence); while Cameron Webb (Motörhead, Social Distortion) was tasked with mixing it. A release later this year through Candlelight Records is in the cards.
