Cannabis Corpse have parted ways with both vocalist Andy “Weedgrinder” Horn” and guitarist Nick “Nikropolis” Poulos. Band bassist Philip “Landphil” Hall (also of Municipal Waste) announced the split with the following:
“Yo Yo Cannabis corpse fans, Good news and bad news
Bad news: “Weedgrinder” and “Nikropolis” have decided to leave Cannabis Corpse, We wish them luck on there future endeavors,
Good news: Cannabis corpse will continue to play shows and put out killer death metal with a new line up, Interested parties contact us @ [email protected]”
Their departures have created the opportunity for a unique event however — the band have tapped Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe to fill in on vocals for a one-off performance.They will be joined by Blythe during their January 07th set at the Canal Club in Richmond, VA. The show will serve as a memorial concert to late Gwar guitarist Cory Smoot (aka Flattus Maximus).
