Nü-metal outfit Silly Goose have a lengthy history of performing guerilla shows at various fast food chains over the years. While the band’s profile has since grown to see them tour internationally and land on the big festival bills in a more traditional fashion, they’re still known to stage and impromptu show here and there. However, after getting arrested last year for a gas station set in Chicago, IL, things have quieted down a bit on that front.
That’s not to say that Silly Goose have mellowed out though. This past September found the group crashing a Denny’s corporate conference, where their frontman Jackson Foster campaigned for a Silly Goose & Denny’s Grand Slam partnership.
With Denny‘s already having dipped its toes in hardcore and the pop-punk scene, it would seem Foster‘s words didn’t fall on deaf ears. Instead, the group have announced that they have teamed up with the diner chain for an officially sanctioned special live event on November 07th at the Denny’s location in Norcross, GA, complete with a ‘Goose Slam’.
