Vancouver, BC based outfit Art Of Dying have inked a deal with Disturbed‘s Reprise imprint label, Intoxication Records. The group are currently in the Los Angeles, CA area finishing up work on their new album with producer Howard Benson (Creed, Papa Roach).
A release date for the outing has yet to be announced. For now, band frontman Jonny Hetherington commented on the signing, stating:
“We’ve been fortunate enough over the last two years to get to know Dan Donegan and David Draiman as friends, performers, and musicians. We knew that if and when an opportunity ever presented itself with them we would be willing to take it in a heartbeat.
When you make music your life and you decide to throw everything you have into it, it’s a huge commitment to yourself. Sometimes all you need is a break. For us the break was a phone call from Dan and getting our music into his hands.
We are thankful to Disturbed in so many ways for letting us tour with them and attend their ‘school of rock’ while out on the road. We are so honored in every way, shape, and form to have their support.”
