Multi-platinum alternative metallers Avenged Sevenfold welcomed ‘America’s Got Talent‘ winner Nene Royal onstage with them today, October 13th. The 16-year-old Royal has proclaimed Avenged Sevenfold as her favorite band, and today she got to guest with them on vocals and guitar on their early 00s hit “Bat Country” at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore, SGP. Royal directly followed that up by sticking around with A7X for another fan favorite, “Unholy Confessions“. See below for fan-filmed footage.
Royal was added to the bill of that show late last month, shortly after winning the 21st season of the above-mentioned reality talent show competition. Royal managed to impress numerous established artists during her run on AGT with her lively rock and metal chops, even getting to perform with Linkin Park and The Warning during the finale.
Royal‘s own opening set tonight for Avenged Sevenfold featured her performing covers of Muse‘s “Hysteria“, Soundgarden‘s “Black Hole Sun“, Rage Against The Machine‘s “Killing In The Name“, System Of A Down‘s “I-E-A-I-A-I-O“) and The Cranberries‘ “Zombie“.
