Local news media report that a 24-year-old woman identified as Grace Vicente has been accused of stealing an ambulance parked outside the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix, AZ last night, August 27th during Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte‘s concert. Police claim the woman, who serves as a New Mexico correctional officer, was impaired at the time of the incident.
She is said to have hopped in the emergency vehicle, which was left running, and taken it for a joyride, crashing into a wall and pickup truck less than two miles away. She is also alleged to have passed out in traffic. Prosecutors claim that while the vehicle was left running, it did not have the keys inside, as paramedics said they had stepped away to grab a gurney and returned to find the vehicle missing.
Per Azfamily.com, prosecutor’s claim that Vicente has admitted to blacking out. She was booked on charges of DUI and theft of means of transportation. Her lawyer also confirmed that she was in the area to attend the aforementioned concert, with her lawyer further stating, “She came here to attend a concert … and things just ended up happening that are completely out of her normal nature.”
