After legal opposition from his ex-bandmates hampered his efforts to relaunch early 00s nü-metal band Skrape this year, the band’s vocalist Billy Keeton recently announced the formation of Skrapegoat. A spiritual successor of sorts to Skrape, that outfit is expected to embrace both Skrape‘s catalog, while also creating new material as well.
Skrapegoat‘s lineup was officially announced this morning, July 31st, and it finds Keeton welcoming in numerous veterans of the nü-metal scene, including musicians who have spent time in The Union Underground, Dope and more. The following announcement was made regarding the roster:
“We’re proud to officially introduce the lineup of SKRAPEGOAT.
Billy Keeton | Vocals
SKRAPE • AudiotopsyIlyn Nathaniel | Bass
The Union Underground • Sky Knives • GenitorturersAngel Bartolotta | Drums

Over the past eight months, these five musicians came together with one shared goal: to honor what came before while creating something that’s entirely our own.
The story of how this lineup came together is one we’re looking forward to telling, and we can’t wait to share more as this next chapter unfolds.
Welcome to SKRAPEGOAT.”
