Steven Von Till, guitarist/vocalist for post-metal greats Neurosis, will be embarking upon some solo touring next month. He’ll be out promoting his latest solo album “Alone In A World Of Wounds” on this new run, which will commence on August 19th.

Von Till will be joined onstage by Dave French on synth, bass and percussion, while Brent Arnold will appear on cello. Six Organs Of Admittance will be opening the bulk of the trek, dates for which include a stop at Queen B Vinyl Café, the Cottonwood, AZ establishment run by Tool, etc. frontman Maynard James Keenan and his wife Jennifer.

08/19 Spokane, WA – The Big Dipper (feat. Semantron) (no Six Organs Of Admittance)
08/21 Oakland, CA – Thee Stork Club
08/22 Los Angeles, CA – Zebulon
08/23 Pioneertown, CA – Pappy & Harriet’s (feat. Semantron)
08/25 Tucson, AZ – 191 Toole
08/26 Cottonwood, AZ – Queen B Vinyl Café (feat. Semantron)
08/27 Albuquerque, NM – Sister
08/28 Denver, CO – Ghost Canyon Festival (no Six Organs Of Admittance)
08/29 Salt Lake City, UT – Aces High Saloon

Of course, it’s also been a big year for Neurosis fans, as the group returned with the surprise release of their brand new album “An Undying Love For A Burning World“. That effort welcomed vocalist/guitarist Aaron Turner (SUMAC, ex-Isis, etc.) into the fold. That celebrated outfit have a limited round of shows booked for this year, including their comeback show that is scheduled for later this week.
