Post-hardcore band Chiodos have notched up their first-ever gold single in the United States. “Baby, You Wouldn’t Last A Minute On The Creek” off of the band’s 2005 debut album “All’s Well That Ends Well” has netted the band their first gold certification in the U.S. to date. The RIAA handed down that status on June 15th.
Chiodos have since re-recorded “All’s Well That Ends Well” in celebration of its 20th anniversary, releasing it last year amid pushback from ex-members associated with the outfit. Vocalist Craig Owens is the only original member still involved with the band since relaunching the outfit in 2024 with an all new roster of bandmates backing him. It was that incarnation of the group that went back and revisited the aforementioned album in the studio.
*A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit. 150 streams of a song also equate to a track-equivalent unit.
