With the likes of Limp Bizkit recently headlining this month’s ‘Download Festival‘ in Donington, UK, nü-metal was in the air. British publication Kerrang! took advantage of the conglomeration of metal and rock talent in attendance during that fest to launch an inform poll of what the the best nü-metal album of all-time is.
Below you can watch some explanations from each artist to answer the question. As you’d expect, the regular suspects in genre pillars like Korn, Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park all got multiple mentions. Some artists also chose to include Deftones, while noting that band’s own well-documented struggles to eschew that genre’s trappings.
As for who took part in this informal poll and their respective choices, read on. Below you can also watch the video itself with commentary from each participant.
