After surprising fans this morning (June 16th) with a tease for a 2027 return, newly reactivated alternative metal icons Faith No More appear to be plotting some reunion touring for the new year. Per Pollstar, the group have just signed a long-term deal with South American promoter 30e for future global touring projects. This past January saw System Of A Down strike a similar global deal with 30e, signaling the company’s further expansion into representing beloved metal bands.

Faith No More collectively said in a new statement of this new partnership:

30e feels like a company that wants to dent into the status quo, and as artists we understand the value of that. Their approach doesn’t feel like the usual machinery; it feels like it’s coming from a different place, with a different kind of energy, and we are willing to get behind that.”

Tim Moss, who manages Faith No More, also commented of the deal, offering:

Faith No More has never followed a conventional path, and that’s exactly why this partnership with 30e makes sense. They bring a fresh perspective, real strategic depth, and the kind of global ambition that aligns with the band’s vision. What matters most is that they understand how to build something meaningful around the band without compromising what makes Faith No More unique.”

Pepeu Correa, CEO of 30e, added:

Faith No More has always been synonymous with disruption. They shaped entire generations precisely because they refused to play by the market’s obvious rules, and it is that same audacious spirit that drives 30e. This agreement aims to jointly build a platform for global experiences that respects the band’s transgressive DNA and presents our vision of entertainment to the world.”

After originally disbanding back in 1998, Faith No More would return in 2009 for a run that once again went off the rails back in 2021 amid vocalist Mike Patton‘s mental health struggles during the pandemic. Patton‘s issues saw the band cancel numerous dates, and effectively ended their second era.

While Patton sought out professional help and returned to the road with his other outfits, further word from members of Faith No More in the years since implied that Patton wasn’t interested in returning, thus once again putting the band on ice.

Patton‘s feelings towards Faith No More appear to have changed more recently however, having reconnected with his bandmates in the group this spring, and revisiting Faith No More‘s catalog with select covers while on tour with AVTT/PTTN this year.
