There’s some more signs of life in the Faith No More camp, with the pivotal alternative metal outfit teasing their apparent plans for 2027. An image shared across their official social media today, June 16th, indicated the highly influential group have something up their sleeve for next year, see it for yourself below:
This is welcome news for fans of the band, who once again collapsed back in 2021. At the time, the group very much had unfinished business, having to cancel some substantial touring. They had good reason for that at the time, as their vocalist Mike Patton was struggling with mental health issues at the time.
However, after seeking professional help and returning to the road with his various other projects, Patton‘s bandmates in that group spoke of a growing disconnect between themselves and the acclaimed vocalist which they implied was initiated by Patton.
Absence may make the heart grow fonder however, as Patton and drummer Mike “Puffy” Bordin were recently spotted together backstage at an AVTT/PTTN show in San Francisco. What’s more, Patton has also been fronting covers of Faith No More songs live while touring with that latter outfit.
Whether or not this all leads to a much-hoped for reunion or something else remains to be seen. But for now, fans of the group are certainly celebrating across their social media platforms.
