New music from deathcore outfit Chelsea Grin is in the works, with plans for a single to arrive before the year’s end. The band’s vocalist Tom Barber confirmed the news in an appearance on the Nik Nocturnal Podcast that just went up yesterday, June 03rd. That chat was mostly about Barber‘s and Chelsea Grin drummer Josh Miller‘s prolific project Darko, who just released their latest album “Oni 2” last month.
When it came to Chelsea Grin however, Barber the following to say [transcribed by theprp.com]:
“Early next year… We were going to put out Chelsea Grin probably like, January, and then before the end of the year, the goal is to have one of our banger ass singles [out.] And I’m going to be real with you, the entire record is singles. So we’re struggling to pick out what song we’re trying to put [out.] “
Barber actually went on to spill the beans on the lineup of the aforementioned tour planned for November/December too, though it was censored in the podcast, due to the info not yet officially being announced.
